The 23d Force Support Squadron is here to serve the Airmen, retirees, civilians and families of Moody AFB, Georgia. We are committed to providing service and support as well as morale, welfare and recreation programs.
Our squadron falls under the 23d Mission Support Group of the 23d Wing here at Moody. The 23d Force Support Squadron is broken down into five flights--Airman & Family Services, Community Services, Force Development, Manpower & Personnel and Sustainment Services. 23 FSS Mission
Provide force management support for the 23d Wing as it executes worldwide Combat Search and Rescue, close air support, forward air control, interdiction, force protection and agile combat support in the support of humanitarian and U.S. national security interests and the Global War on Terrorism. Provide combat support through lodging, food and beverage, and fitness operations. Deliberately develop and nurture 23d Wing Airmen and Civilian Employees through a full range of education and training, preparing them to deploy, attack, rescue and protect. Provide strategic advisor support to leadership, educate Airmen on Personnel System Delivery changes, National Security Personnel System, and AF Transformation. Take care of Airmen and their families on our base and in our community by providing education opportunities, child care, recreation, readiness and mortuary support.
